NaFFAA Y2K2 Conference Early Registration Deadline Final Extension Date June 30,
2002
San José, CA – The National Federation of Filipino American Associations, NaFFAA,
is extending the deadline date for discount rates to June 30, 2002. Envelopes
must be postmarked by June 30 to qualify for the early registration fee of $175
for students/seniors and $225 for delegates.
The National Empowerment Conference will be held Wednesday through Sunday,
August 28 – September 1, 2002 at the DoubleTree Hotel in San José and the
Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. Registration forms and additional
information are available by calling Northside Community Center at 408.928.1100
or emailing NaFFAAY2K2@yahoo.com. You

NaFFAA Y2K2 is the Fifth National Filipino American Empowerment conference of
the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA). The
conference mission is to “Forge a National Consciousness as a Filipino Community
in America.”
NaFFAA Y2K2 provides a strategic planning process for the conference to follow:
Assessment of the State of the Community, Develop a Vision for the Future,
Establish Goals and Action Plans, Develop Implementation Plan, Develop Metrics
and Monitoring Tools, and Annual Review and Update of Strategic Plan.
The Conference is also organized in the following five tracts: Community
Development, Economic Development, Leadership Development, Youth and Family
Development, and Art, Media & Technology Development.
